WysiWyg announces the appointment of Dr. Teruhiko Higuchi as our new medical advisor.

Dr. Higuchi is an exceptionally dedicated psychiatrist – the first person from Asia to have been awarded the Golden Kraepelin Medal; he also serves as the Honorary Chairman of the Board of Directors, National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry of Japan.

1972Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Tokyo University.
1979Obtained a doctorate in medicine (MD and PhD).
1981Research exchange in neuroendocrinology, physiological department, faculty of medicine, University of Manitoba, Canada.
1989Assistant professor, department of neuropsychiatry, Gunma University, Japan.
1994Professor, the Institution for Neuropsychiatry, Fujigaoka Hospital, Showa University, Japan.
1999Hospital vice-director, Kohnodai Hospital, National Center for Psychiatry and Neurology, Japan. Appointed as director in 2000.
